Since I was a child I had a great connection with nature through our native woods and mountains. Also I admired the landscapes and animals from Africa. And last I had always shared a great love for horses, their attitudes, and their interaction with human beings. That’s how I got interested in human and horse anatomy and also in horse riding as an sport. The soul of all this I have spilled in hundreds of drawings, paintings and sculptures.
My interest in all forms of art took me to study rock cave art in caves of France and Spain during a long stay in Europe. They made me realize the different ways that exist in the use of carbon and lines. As to human figure I really admire the anatomical drawings in Michelangelo’s work and the synthesis of feelings in the figures painted by Klimt.
Each event in contemporary society is an inspiration for me as there has been moments of pain and sorrow together with love which bring forward the very essence of human beings. Finally I must say there is a constant creative drive inside me to accomplish perfection in representing human feelings through the pencil, acrylic painting or carbon.
